Profile

Dr. Schroeder is a registered psychologist with a research interest in teaching and learning at the post-secondary level.  In her clinical work, she is interested in the assessment of adults and ADHD.  In 2014, she was awarded the University of Calgary Teaching Award for Teaching in Online Environments.  She is the Academic Coordinator for a First Nations (MFNERC) school psychology cohort and Director of Practicum.

Research & Scholarly Activity

Dr. Schroeder's research is on clinical reasoning in school psychology, learning disability identification, academic integrity, and how to support post-secondary student well-being in the classroom.  She has a secondary interest in child development and has published and presented on issues related to medical assistance in dying, girls with ADHD, and students' understanding of the nature of science.
