2. How is does GPE facilitate Distance delivery?
Two internet-based tools are utilized to deliver courses online: Desire2Learn and Adobe Connect. Students registered in online courses access Desire2Learng and Adobe Connect through myUofC. To learn more about the technology requirements for online courses and delivery tools, please go to elearn.ucalgary.ca.
3. If I take an Distance program, do I have to come to campus?
The Doctor of Education (EdD) program requires two weeks of face-to-face study in the first year of program, and two weeks in the second year of program at the University of Calgary campus.
For course-based degrees online degrees such as the MC, MEd, Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate, please consult the Program Delivery section of the topic area you are interested in as delivery mode varies.
