Accessing Library Databases from Off Campus
Almost all of the library's research databases can be accessed from off campus. In order to gain access you need the numbers from your UofC ID card, or use your UCIT login and password.

Education Article/Research Databases
Here is a listing of all Education-related research databases at the UofC. Some of these include the full text of articles; others will only provide you a citation to the information you're seeking. If you're only able to locate a citation, follow the "Get full text" link to see if the full text can be found in another source.

Library Connection
Library Connection is a service that exists to serve the library needs of students enrolled in distance courses. Yours is one such course, so even if you're in the Calgary area, you're enrolled in a distance course and are thus entitled to our services.

Visit the website for further details, but in a nutshell Library Connection offers document delivery services (books, articles, etc.). If you locate a citation for an item you can't find full text online, fill out the document delivery form and we'll track down the book or article and ship it to your door. No cost :-)

Doucette Library

The Doucette Library of Teaching Resources is primarily a resource for Undergraduate Programs in Education students.  However, graduate students might find it helpful to look at the Doucette Library’s small collection of recent Werklund theses and dissertations or to use the library’s computers and printers. All Education students may borrow items from the Doucette Library’s collection of loanable technology.
