Orientation to Online Delivery Tools

In the Office of Graduate Programs in Education online courses are delivered using two web-based applications: Desire2Learn and Adobe Connect. Face-to-face courses may also utilize Desire2Learn.

For our newly admitted students, we offer real-time orientation sessions with a focus on these two course delivery tools. In these sessions students have the opportunity to learn about the main features of Desire2Learn and Adobe Connect and to test their Internet connection, headset, microphone and audio settings. The orientation sessions are delivered online,using Adobe Connect.

We highly recommend that students who are new to online delivery or to one of these applications, attend one of the orientations prior to their first online course.
