Werklund School of Education voudrait appuyer les étudiants qui enseigneront en français dans l’amélioration de leur compétence linguistique et culturelle en offrant des bourses de voyage pour participer à des expériences nationales ou internationales. Au retour, les candidats retenus présenteront leur apprentissage dans le format de leur choix.

 

Conditions d'admissibilité

• Vous avez complété au minimum Field I.
• Vous êtes disponible pour voyager un minimum d'un mois maximum de trois mois entre mai et août, 2022.
• Vous avez un bon niveau de français.
• Vous enseignerez en français après avoir gradué.

 

Processus de demande en ligne

Veuillez faire parvenir votre demande en utilisant Elevate:

• Les candidats qui recevront une bourse doivent choisir une destination afin d’améliorer leur compétence linguistique en français.
• Les participants doivent également trouver des activités qui faciliteront l’apprentissage de la langue française, par exemple des classes, un emploi bénévole, ou une autre activité de leur choix. Une preuve d’une activité est obligatoire.
• Les candidats doivent joindre un CV en français ou bilingue, un budget détaillant les dépenses prévues et les sources de financement, et une lettre de référence, en anglais ou en français, soulignant l’apprentissage de la langue française ou les efforts continus pour améliorer leur compétence linguistique.
• La date limite pour soumettre votre demande est le 28 février 2022 à 23h59

Opportunity for Language Upgrading and Cultural Appreciation

Travel – Speak – Learn – Share!

The Werklund School of Education would like to support pre-service teachers who intend to teach in French and would like to upgrade their language competency and cultural understanding. Funding will be available to cover some national or international travel expenses. Successful applicants will be required to present their learning in a format of their choosing upon returning from this experience.

 

Criteria

• You have successfully completed a minimum of Field I.
• You are able to travel for a minimum of one month, up to three months, between May and August, 2022.
• You have a functional level of the French language.
• You intend to teach in French after graduation.

 

Online Application Process

Online applications will be processed through Elevate:

• Applicants will choose a location for travel to improve their French language skills.
• Applicants must also find activities in which to participate that will facilitate language learning, such as classes, a volunteer position, or other activity of their choosing.
• Complete applications will include the following attachments: a CV in French or bilingual, a budget outlining anticipated costs and funding sources, and a letter of reference in English or French speaking to your previous French language learning or your dedication to improving your language skills.
• Applications will be accepted through Elevate until February 28th, 2022, at 11:59 p.m.
