Murray Peglar’s doctoral work seeks to improve the integration of international initiatives into the University of Calgary community. His work within IFP ranges from curriculum and approval process development for new programming, to development of materials, especially for pronunciation skills.
Murray Peglar has been an instructor with the International Foundations Program (IFP) in the Werklund School of Education since 2006. He received his Master of Education degree in TESL from the University of Calgary, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education focusing on Leadership in Internationalization. Having previously taught English in contexts including secondary, post-secondary and the private sector, he is currently instructing in and coordinating the IFP Bridging stream. His in-class specializations include clear pronunciation and writing skills.
