Staffing announcement: New executive director and chief of staff, Office of the President

Dear colleagues,

Following a thorough competition, I am pleased to announce that Andy Gregory will be joining us as the executive director and chief of staff in the Office of the President, effective July 7, 2025.

Andy holds a joint MBA from Cornell University and Queen’s University, a BA in Political Science from the University of Waterloo, and a Certificate in Broadcast Journalism from SAIT.  She brings 20 years of experience to the role, including considerable expertise from the post-secondary sector, having previously served as an associate director for external affairs at New York University in Abu Dhabi, as well as in marketing and communications roles at UBC and Vancouver Community College. Most recently, she served as director of communications and public relations at Legal Aid Alberta.

Please join me in welcoming Andy to the University of Calgary. 

Note, she will be attending the President’s Stampede BBQ on July 2, so you will have your first opportunity to meet her there!
