Indigenous elder Lloyd Ewenin guides a group of students from the Cumming School of Medicine (CSM) through a Medicine Walk in Nose Hill Park. The journey of discovery explored meaning and methods in the collection and application of natural plant medicines. The walk was a learning opportunity designed to increase understanding of Indigenous health and healing approaches.

The walk was a collaboration between the CSM’s Strategic Partnerships and Community Engagement office and the Calgary and Elbow River Healing Lodge.
