Nursing professor inducted into Canadian Academy of Nursing
Dr. Nicole Letourneau one of 18 nurses inducted as part of the third annual class of fellows
Congratulations to Dr. Nicole Letourneau who was one of 18 nurses inducted to the Canadian Academy of Nursing earlier this month as part of the third annual class of fellows. The Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) established the academy in 2019 to identify, educate, support and celebrate nursing leaders across all the regulated categories and domains of practice. Dean Sandra Davidson was inducted in 2021.
To become a fellow, a candidate provides a detailed submission to the Academy, along with the support of two nominators. The decision to accept fellows is based on their demonstration of exceptional and sustained contributions and commitments to advancing the nursing profession.
