The Language Research Centre (LRC) is seeking presenters for the annual Work in Progress (WiP) talks, a series of presentations which gives SLLLC faculty members and graduate students the opportunity to share their current research projects and initiatives with other members of the School.

The event will be held on Friday, September 18 starting at 4 p.m. Due to ongoing restrictions and concerns around larger public gatherings, this year's presentations will be given remotely via Zoom.

The WiP talks are open to all faculty members and graduate students in the School of Languages, Linguistics, Literatures and Cultures. We will continue to use the "Three Minute Thesis" format for this event: participants will present their work for three minutes with the use of a single static PowerPoint slide. There will be two minutes for questions after each presentation.

------------------------

Please send an email to lrc@ucalgary.ca by September 6 if you would like to present. The single PPT slide can be submitted by September 10, also to lrc@ucalgary.ca. Depending on the number of participants, we may offer another session at a later date. Further details of the event will be announced once the final number of participants is determined.

We look forward to seeing many of you present on September 18!
