Undergraduate Programs in Education

Undergraduate Programs in Education (UPE) offers two, four and five-year Bachelor of Education degrees (BEd) to prepare professional teachers for the K-12 school system. The degree is offered through three pathways: a Consecutive (After-Degree) Program, a Concurrent (Direct-Entry) Program and a Community-Based Program.

Graduate Programs in Education

Graduate Programs in Education (GPE) offers research oriented Master's (MA, MSc) and doctoral degrees (PhD) delivered on-campus as well as professional oriented Master's (MEd, MC) and doctoral degrees (EdD) graduate diplomas and graduate certificates offered off-campus.

International Foundations Program

Now Accepting Applications

International Foundations Program provides students planning on doing degree programs at the U of C with an on-campus program to help them achieve their academic goals. Students in International Foundations Program gain fluency in their use of the English language while learning in an academic environment which prepares them for their university studies.

Second language training is offered through Undergraduate Programs in Education (UPE) as part of the 5 year Concurrent (Direct-Entry) and 2 year Consecutive (After-Degree) Bachelor of Education program.
