Werklund School of Education
Graduate Programs in Education (GPE) is organized around areas of shared teaching and research interests. Currently there are seven specializations with degrees arranged into research and professional programs. Students must select one specialization as a focus of their study upon application to the program.
Research degrees embrace the notion of preparing "Stewards of the Discipline", scholars capable of generating new knowledge, conducting research with a high degree of competence and integrity, transforming knowledge, and communicating the results to advance the field.
We offer the following Research Degrees:

Professional degrees are designed for working professionals aspiring to deepen, enhance and extend the competencies needed to become "Scholars of the Profession". Study aimed at developing a depth and breadth of knowledge in a discipline area, along with an understanding and appreciation of the need to learn how to conduct original applied research to inform and improve practice are explicit goals of our graduate professional programs.
