About GPESA AGMs
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is an opportunity for membership to come together, discuss important matters for the year, review financial reports, and address any other relevant issues.
AGMs are a fantastic way to get information and updates about GPESA and our advocacy and planning efforts. They are a chance to newtork with other graduate students and engage with our organization and build out transparency by asking questions and seeking clarification. Participation in the AGM is very important for all members, and all members are strongly encouraged to attend.
The AGM is usually held at the beginning of the Fall semester.

Thank you to everyone who attended our 2023 Annual General Meeting on November 30th, 2023 at 5 pm.
We discussed themes including advocacy efforts, future GPESA programming, and how GPESA can best support our members. See below for important documents related to GPESA. Key discussions from our AGM were:
- Establishment of a bylaws revision committee headed by Lily Cai
- Advocacy
- Understanding GPESA Student Interests and Concerns Survey
To that end, please fill our GPESA Graduate Student Interests and Concerns Survey to help us steer the direction of GPESA inititatives for the coming years.
