Teaching Awards
The Werklund School of Education Office of Teaching and Learning helps facilitate the recognition of outstanding teaching in the School each year by administering and adjudication of several internal teaching awards.
With the application for University of Calgary or external awards for teaching excellence, we are happy to provide support with the copyediting of award dossiers and other preparation of applications. If you are applying for awards at these levels feel free to contact us for support.
As you consider applying for, or adjudicating, awards and grants whether with the Werklund School of Education, the University of Calgary or from an external entity, we encourage you to consider the guidelines that the university has drafted to acknowledge and foster greater equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in our award and grant processes.
Currently there are four teaching awards which have been adjudicated through the Office of Teaching and Learning and the Teaching and Learning Advisory Committee. The deadline for nomination packages was May 1, 2024.
