Application Process

Our admissions process is designed to be straightforward and informative, ensuring you have all the resources and guidance needed to apply successfully. Whether you're looking to advance your expertise in education or embark on a new academic journey, we are here to support you every step of the way.

All applications are submitted online, and you will receive a notification in writing from the Werklund School after a decision regarding admissibility is reached, normally 10-12 weeks after the application deadline date. We look forward to reviewing your application and potentially welcoming you to our academic community.

Regular Students

Apply as a regular student if you wish to gain admission to a program leading to a graduate-level certificate or diploma, a master’s or a doctoral degree.

Apply as an out of program student is you wish to engage in graduate-level course work and/or research, but you have not been admitted to a program leading to a degree or diploma at UCalgary.
