B is for Basketball was created in collaboration with the students and teachers of School District No.50 on Haida Gwaii. It is a tribute, and it is a labour of love. This is the offical book of the 2011 All Native Basketball Tournament. These games have been held in Prince Rupert, British Columbia for over 50 years, and have become an important cultural gathering.

Author Biography (Author's Website: robertdavidson.ca): Robert Charles Davidson OC OBC RCA, is a Canadian artist of Haida heritage. Davidson's Haida name is G̲uud San Glans, which means "Eagle of the Dawn". He is a leading figure in the renaissance of Haida art and culture. He lives in White Rock, British Columbia Illustrator Biography (Harbour Publishing): Judy Hilgemann has been creating art since childhood. She has illustrated many books, including B is for Basketball, Magical Beings of Haida Gwaii, The True Story of Sheba & Rex and Children of the Sea. She is a member of the Island Illustrators Society and Federation of Canadian Artists. She lives in Queen Charlotte on Haida Gwaii, BC.
