At the Great Tree base, Morgan discovers Eli, lifeless, and knowing she does not have a lot of time to save Eli. It will mean asking for help from old and new friends. Morgan sets off to follow the trail away from the Great Tree and to find Eli's soul before it's too late, As they journey, they enter into the northern woods, a place that they have been told not to go into. They face new challenges and life threatening attacks from creatures but a surprise ally comes to them and Morgan finds strength to focus on what is important, which is her brother Eli's life.
