A Sled Dog for Moshi

This picturebook begins with Moshi wanting a pet dog like her friend. After hearing from her father about the importance of the work sled dogs do, one of her family’s sled dogs saves her and her friend in a storm. At the end, Moshi decides she wants a sled dog who works after all. The book concludes with a glossary of important terms. Jeanne Bushy lived in Iqaluit and comes from the United States, Germaine Arnatauyok is a native to Baffin Island.
