Annual Werklund Scholarship Award Winners Announced

On November 9, the Werklund School of Education celebrated its 2015 winners of the Werklund Community Engaged Leadership Scholarship as well as the recipient of the Werklund Doctoral Fellowship for the 2015-2016 academic year.

The six undergraduate students: Ashley Shannon, Maria Landgraf, Jacquelyn Babich, Tanis Harty, Jillian Towill, and Tin Vu Nguyen, will all receive $20,000 scholarships to be used over the course of their education.  The awards are based academic merit and extracurricular activities demonstrating community service, volunteerism, or leadership.

Shaily Bhola is the recipient of the $25000 Werklund Doctoral Fellowhsip award, given out yearly to an exceptional new scholar working in the Werklund School of Education to consolidate his/her research training, to develop and initiate original research in LEADING EDUCATION FOR A CONNECTED WORLD,  and to participate in Werklund School of Education strategic academic initiatives and activities.
