TAB Partnership News - China: Educational and cultural exchange developing between UCalgary, Shaanxi Normal University

The second cohort of education students from Shaanxi Normal University will come this fall to participate in the six-week practicum program scheduled for Sept. 18 - Oct. 27, 2017. Like last year, this program will consist of four weeks of practicum and two weeks of coursework that focus on education in the Province of Alberta.

The SNNU program again is a collaboration between the Office of Internationalization and Graduate Programs in Education (GPE). This program will be delivered by GPE under the leadership of Associate Dean, Dr. Michele Jacobsen.

The Office of Internationalization is currently communicating with SNNU in China and working collaboratively with GPE at WSE on the preparation of the upcoming program. Based on the experience from last year, we are designing a more tailor-made program that SNNU students will enjoy and benefit from.
