Undergraduate Research: Connecting with a Supervisor
When: Wednesday, November 19th, 4:30pm - 5:30pm
What: Meet potential supervisors and discuss project ideas!

*Note: This event will be offered in-person, in EDT 202, for on-campus pathway students, and via Zoom for Community-Based students. Each session will cover particular pathway considerations, meaning the Zoom session is only intended for Community-Based students. Registered Community-Based students will receive the Zoom link via email one day in advance of the event.
Undergraduate Research: Next Steps Webinar
When: Wednesday, January 14th from 7.00 - 8.00pm
What: Learn more about developing your research idea and completing the application. This conversation will be led by Dr. Erin Spring, Associate Dean.
At this session we will go over how to decide on a topic and how to narrow it down, how to complete the application form, how to approach a potential supervisor (if you do not yet have a supervisor), and, finally, for those pursuing the BEd Honours, the structure of the honours program and what that entails.

We'll walk you through the degree structure, program progression, Letter of Permission (LoP) courses, how transfer credit is assessed, and how to use our Registration Guide to determine which courses and sections to enroll in.

Werklund Change of Program Webinar
This webinar is designed for UCalgary students who are thinking about applying to switch into Education, or changing something within their Education degree. We will walk you through BEd options including our BEd pathways and teachable subject areas, as well as options to add an embedded certificates, minor, or the BEd Honours! Whether you're exploring your options or ready to make a change, this webinar will help you understand your next steps and how to plan ahead.
