Please note that from March through May, our priority is to support our current and incoming students through important steps including registration, graduation, and academic review. As such, if you are planning to apply in a future cycle, we encourage you to connect with us in June. In the meantime, we encourage you to utilize the following resources:

Our team offers in-person and online advising - please refer to the information below for more details on booking and dropping-in.
All students are highly encouraged to explore their specific program site prior to meeting with an advisor, to ensure that the appointment time is used as effectively as is possible!
Not sure whether to book an appointment or go for a drop-in?
Appointments: Great for longer conversations, like degree planning or comparing pathway options!
Drop-Ins: Great for quick or specific questions, like confirming an application has been posted correctly or reviewing registration timelines!
Phone Calls: Best for triage, referrals, quick questions, and booking an appointment!
Note I: Appointments are scheduled for 20 minutes. If you feel that you require further time, please ensure to request/book appropriately.

Online appointments are conducted via the web-conferencing platform Zoom. An advisor will send you an email with further details and Zoom meeting information prior to your appointment. If you have not received this information by an hour preceding your appointment, please email us at upe@ucalgary.ca, and ensure to check your spam folder.
We offer drop-ins online.

Due to our Graduation Processing and Academic Review Closures, Online Drop-in availability for April 27th - May 15th will be as follows:

To Join Drop-Ins
Drop-ins are filled first-come, first-served, and are offered in 20-minute slots. If you feel that you require further time, we encourage you to book an appointment. Our last available drop-in begins at 3.30pm; arrivals after 3.20pm may not be accommodated. If all drop-in slots have been filled for a given Wednesday afternoon, you will be asked to book an appointment or consider future drop-in options.
