TAB Timeline
Teaching Across Borders (TAB) takes place during your final Fall semester. The application process begins the year before:
- After-Degree students apply in their 1st Fall semester, when they are taking their EDUC 400s
- Concurrent students apply in their 4th Fall semester, when they are taking their EDUC 400s
- Four-Year BEd students apply in their 3rd Fall semester
- Community-Based students apply based on which program pathway they are in (see above)

Each TAB cohort has slightly different dates for all of their events and deadlines.

- Participate in EDUC 525 and EDUC 535 from July 7, 2025 - July 18, 2025
- TAB Award distributed
- Pre-Departure Workshop #3: July 7, 2025 during on-campus courses
August: Final preparations

While Abroad (2025)
September: Depart for placement at the beginning of September. Specific start dates are determined by the liaison from the partner institution in your host country.
Fall Semester Courses: EDUC 521 and EDUC 530, synchronous and asynchronous components

November 2025: Return Workshop, November
December 2025: Past Meets Present meeting with future Fall 2026 TAB cohort
