EDUC 551 Format Change Survey
We want to hear from you!
The course coordinators and faculty for your final semester course, EDUC 551: Comprehensive School Health and Wellness, are currently considering a format change to the delivery of this class.
Currently, EDUC 551 is comprised of three, conference-style days that run during the Winter block week, followed by five weeks of continuing lecture, and a lab.
Right now, the team is looking at changing the block week component and continuing lectures into asynchronous, online learning, or, in other words, your block week and continuing lectures would be replaced by online content. Your labs would run as are currently scheduled. The block week content would be presented in a 'menu' style that requires you to choose to engage with at least one resource per week from a list of options relating to a weekly lab focus. Your instructors would also implement experiential learning opportunities during labs. Continued lab sessions will include discussion of case studies, and address asynchronous content assigned from the previous week.
Because you have already enrolled in the course as an entirely on-campus offering, we wanted to get your feedback as to how you would feel about these changes.
Survey responses are entirely anonymous, and will only inform the decision to change the block week/lecture component of EDUC 551 for Winter 2021.
This survey will be open from:
Tuesday, May 19th
closing
Tuesday, May 26th
We look forward to hearing from you!
