My activism within the 2SLGBTQ+ community has always been motivated by a strong desire to provide the support to young people that I did not always have when growing up. This same desire drives me as an educator to make sure all students can reach their full potential. The Werklund Community Engaged Leadership Scholarship is helping me maintain my commitment to volunteerism while I pursue my degree.
